Christopher Ward, better known by his stage name MC Chris, is a rapper, voice actor, writer and improv comedian who rose to prominence in the early 2000s as an animator for Adult Swim. He has contributed his skills as a writer, actor, songwriter and lead animator on such shows as Selab 2021, The Brak Show, Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Chris has released 17 studio albums over the course of his career, and has collaborated with artists including Childish Gambino, Cee-Lo, Talib Kweli, Andrew WK and Gwar. Each song he has released since 2016 has charted in the top ten on the Billboard charts, and his music can be heard in several television shows including episodes of Comedy Central’s “Broad City” and Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance?” Chris is an active philanthropist, passionately raising funds with the help of his fans to fight Cystic Fibrosis, a disease which affects his nephew.
