Boombox Cartel is a dubstep/trap DJ duo made up of producers Americo Garcia and Jorge Medina. The two met in high school in Mexico, moving to Minnesota shortly after to pursue their musical ambitions, enrolling at the McNalley Smith school. Boombox Cartel was formed when the duo relocated to Los Angeles, eventually releasing singles like “B2U,” “Aftershock,” and “Supernatural.” Cartel, their debut EP, hit shelves in April 2017.
