Daughtry is an American rock band, formed and fronted by namesake Chris Daughtry, a season five finalist on American Idol. Daughtry released their self-titled debut studio album which included the lead single "It's Not Over" in 2006. The song was an instant success, reaching the number four spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and hitting the top three in several other charts. Daughtry went on to reach the number one position on the Billboard 200. It was named the best-selling album of 2007 by Billboard and has been certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. The band has released three more studio albums since their formation, including the certified platinum second album Leave This Town (2009), Break the Spell (2011) and Baptized (2013). Daughtry has won many prestigious awards, including several American Music and Billboard Music awards and earning four Grammy nominations. Their latest album, Cage to Rattle, came out on July 27, 2018.
