The Elizabethton River Riders are a Minor League Baseball in the Appalachian League.
The team were originally known as the Elizabethton Twins, and were affiliated with the Minnesota Twins for 36 years. In 2021, the Elizabethton Twins were replaced and rebranded as the Elizabethton River Riders. The name is in reference to the Watauga River, which runs just behind their stadium.
During their inaugural season, the River Riders finished 2nd with a record of 26-22.
