Meet Angel Olsen
Angel Olsen is an American indie singer-songwriter who hails from St. Louis, Missouri. She began her music career recording and touring as a backing singer with fellow singer-songwriter Bonnie "Prince" Billy and circus performer the Cairo Gang. Olsen embarked on her solo career in 2010 with her debut EP, Strange Cacti, which was originally released on a cassette. Her first full-length album, Half Way Home, became available in 2012, and it was followed by her first full-band record, Burn Your Fire for No Witness in 2014. Olsen's third full-length album, My Woman, was released in 2016. In addition to her solo work, Olsen has collaborated with several notable figures in American indie rock, including an album called "Tim Kinsella sings the songs of Marvin Tate by LeRoy Bach featuring Angel Olsen," featuring the named musicians.
