Cedric Burnside is an outstanding electric blues drummer, guitarist, singer and songwriter. Cedric was born on August 26, 1978, in Memphis Mississippi. Cedric's abilities don't fall far from members in his family, with his grandfather being a blues singer/ songwriter/ guitarist as well. In 2008 Burnside partnered up with Lightnin' Malcom, releasing the song,"Two Man Wrecking Crew". Nearly a year after releasing this song they were awarded a Blues Music Award for 'Best New Artist Debut' in 2009. His popular album "Descendants of Hill Country" Was nominated for a Grammy award for being the Best Blues Album.
