Meet In This Moment
In This Moment is a metal band hailing from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed by lead vocalist Maria Brink and guitarist Christ Howorth in 2005, initially playing under the name Dying Star. Following a decision to change the direction of their sound and style, they changed their name and acquired two more members into the band. In This Moment has gone on to release six studio albums and have performed on several notable tours and festivals, including Ozzfest. Their sound has often been described as gothic metal, although their more recent projects have a sound that moves towards alternative metal/rock and even incorporates elements of industrial and electronic. In This Moment’s latest album Ritual was released in 2017 and debuted at number 23 on the Billboard 200 chart.
