Into The Woods is a musical conundrum that cleverly intertwines an original story with the plots and characters from for timeless fairy tales, ‘Rapunzel’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Little Red Riding Hood’, and ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. The musical debuted on Broadway in 1987, and embarked on a nation tour the following year. Into The Woods made a West End debut and revival, as well as a Broadway revival in 2010 and a film adaptation in 2014 starring Meryl Streep. The film and the musical both earned prestigious awards and nominations, and were both hugely successful.
