Joshua Bell is a world-renowned violinist from Bloomington, Indiana. He was no doubt a childhood prodigy, learning to first play the violin when he was four. Bell made his debut appearance on the classic music scene with the Philadelphia Orchestra when he was fourteen years old, and eventually his first Carnegie Hall appearance was at the remarkable age of seventeen. He went on to study music at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and graduated with an Artist Diploma in Violin Performance. He is undoubtedly one of the most highly respected, renowned violinists of his generation.
