Minneapolis-based singer and rapper Lizzo rose to fame throughout the early 2010s founding a handful of indie/hip-hop groups like Lizzo & the Larva Ink, The Chalice, Grrl Prty, Ellypseas, The Clerb, and Absynthe. She released her debut album Lizzobangers in 2013, followed by the release of her sophomore album Big Grrrl Small World two years later. In 2016, Lizzo released her major label debut EP Coconut Oil.
