Meet National Black Rodeo Finals
The National Black Rodeo is a rodeo competition and entertainment event for all races, ages, and backgrounds. Founded by Frank Edwards over 30 years ago, the National Black Rodeo was inspired by his love of the sport and his passion to create a space where people of color could comfortably participate in bull riding, bareback, steer wrestling and team roping. Open to all races and ages, the National Black Rodeo has various categories in the ladies, men, and junior divisions. When Edwards created the event, he put his own unique twist on it, drawing on inspiration from the Super Bowl adding a half-time show! With event music that ranges everywhere from standard western classics to hip-hop and Southern Soul, the National Black Rodeo is an exciting competition for the whole family to enjoy.
