The group was a major component in the Country Rock and American Roots movement, with their sound and style often referred to as “profoundly influential.” NGDB has produced several multi-platinum and gold records, churning out one chart-topping hit after another with songs such as “Fishin’ In The Dark” and their popular cover of Jerry Jeff Walker’s “Mr. Bojangles.” Their 1972 album, Will The Circle Be Unbroken, has been inducted into the U.S. Library of Congress as well as the Grammy Hall of Fame along with “Mr. Bojangles.”
