Steven Wright is a stand-up comic, actor and an Oscar-winning film producer from Cambridge, Massachusetts. The prolific comedian has seen considerable success over the course of his career, including Grammy nominations, multiple television appearances and his signature stand-up comedy special on Comedy Central (2006), When The Leaves Blow Away. His two previous projects, HBO stand-up specials Wicker Chairs And Gravity and A Steven Wright Special paved the road to his successful television career, and the latter of the two proved to be one of the longest running specials in history. In addition to his stand-up comedy career, Wright wrote and starred in the film The Appointments of Dennis Jennings. The film resulted in an Academy Award for 'Best Short Live-Action Film'. Steven Wright is an icon in the comedy world.
