Electronic music act The Crystal Method was formed by Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland in 1993. The Crystal Method became an instant success with the release of their debut album Vegas, which was certified platinum in 2007 and followed by Tweekend, Legion of Boom, Divided by Night and The Crystal Method. The duo are considered pioneers of the big beat genre. The Crystal Method’s dance-based electronic music incorporates a rock-band feel, creating a sound uniquely their own. Ken Jordan retired from music in 2017, with Kirkland adopting The Crystal Method as a solo moniker.
