Are you ready … to get some “Satisfaction!?” 

Well, get ready! The Rolling Stones have officially announced their 2024 tour. 

The iconic rock band has been performing for over 50 years, and their tours are always highly anticipated events. 

A 2024 tour promises to be a high-energy show with their signature blend of rock and roll, blues, and R&B with classics like "Satisfaction," "Paint It Black," and "Jumpin' Jack Flash," as well as newer songs from their most recent album.

Initially, clues started trickling across social media about the whereabouts of the Rolling Stones trek across North America since their last visit during their No Filter Tour came to our shores in both 2019 and 2021.

The official announcement comes on the heels of the band releasing “Hackney Diamonds,” their first full-length LP since 2005. They played a star-studded special release show in New York in October featuring Lady Gaga who features on the album’s, “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” track. There’s also an appearance by Stevie Wonder, who was enshrined in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside the Stones in 1989. 

The tour features stops at marquee venues like SoFi Stadium, MetLife Stadium, Allegiant Stadium, and a visit to the famed New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

The original lineup featured Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and Ian Stewart. When The Rolling Stones embark on their 2024 tour, it will be with the classic lineup of Mick Jagger (1962-present) on lead vocals, Keith Richards (1962-present) on guitar and backing vocals, and Ronnie Wood  (1975-present) on lead guitar, bass, backing vocals, and pedal steel. 

It will be the first tour without longtime percussionist Charlie Watts who died in August 2021. 

Richards lamented, “Ever since Charlie’s gone, it’s different. He’s number four. Of course, he’s missed incredibly.” The band is likely to tap Steve Jordan - a personal recommendation from Watts to take over behind the drum kit. Together, the two worked for decades on side projects. Prior to Watts’ passing, he helped the band record two tracks, “Live by the sword” and “Mess it UP” on the “Hackney Diamonds.”

• Steel Wheels Tour (1989-1990) – This tour marked the band's return to the stage after a three-year hiatus. They performed in North America, Europe, and Japan, and the tour grossed over $300 million.
• Voodoo Lounge Tour (1994-1995) – The band's first tour without bassist Bill Wyman, the Voodoo Lounge Tour saw the Stones performing in stadiums and arenas across North America, Europe, and Asia. The tour grossed over $300 million.
• Bridges to Babylon Tour (1997-1998) – The Stones' first tour with new bassist Darryl Jones, the Bridges to Babylon Tour included shows in North America, Europe, and South America. The tour grossed over $274 million.
