The Wizards of Winter is a group of classically trained musicians with a penchant for progressive rock stylings. To describe them simply they are a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tribute band, but there is far more to The Wizards of Winter’s performances than TSO cover songs. In fact, there are only a few that the band plays in rotation.
The band relies heavily on the sounds that TSO made popular, that being a blend of shredding metal guitars, ethereal vocals, and pounding rhythms over a classically orchestrated song structure based in familiar holiday hits. They perform all over North America in the later part of the year, selling out intimate theatres and outdoor venues at every stop. Their top-notch production values and tight sound make for an evening you will never forget!
