Meet 311
311 (pronounced three-eleven) is an American rock group hailing from Omaha, Nebraska. The band reached mainstream success following the release of their self-titled third album in 1995, which featured their hit single “Down.” The track hit No. 1 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart, receiving massive radio play and the accompanying music video being put into MTV's rotation. In the years since, 311 has gone on to release nine more studio albums, the latest titled Mosaic premiered in 2017. The band has hosted an annual cruise vacation for fans since 2011, visiting exotic island destinations and playing live shows throughout the journey. 311's loyal fanbase has grown into its own community of sorts, not only diving into their music, but the lifestyle the band promotes as well.
