42nd Street is a musical which first appeared on Broadway in 1980. The musical is based off of the book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, with the lyric and music arrangements by Al Dubin and Harry Warren, respectively. The two act musical focuses on the production ‘Pretty Lady’, and all of the people auditioning for the show and the drama surrounding it. 42nd street has received multiple awards, including Tony Awards for ‘Best Musical’, and ‘Best Revival’.
