ETCares Donates Tickets to Those In Need

There's unrivaled magic in experiencing live events that everyone deserves to feel firsthand.

As reported by The Gainesville Sun, Event Tickets Center has been hard at work donating tickets and lifelong memories to individuals seeking assistance through local organizations via the ETCares program.

From women veterans and domestic violence victims to severe trauma and cancer survivors, Event Tickets Center has already made a lasting impact on those in need, and we're just getting started.

Empowering Women Veterans and Severe Trauma Survivors

Event Tickets Center recently partnered with the Tampa-based Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund organization in recognition of Women Veteran's Day, sending a group of women veterans to an event of their choice.

The group settled on tickets to an Alicia Keys concert in honor of the Grammy-winning artist's efforts and songs celebrating women's empowerment. There was one track, in particular, they were excited to sing along to; "Girl On Fire."

"It was amazing to see so many happy women. Alicia's musical artistry, chemistry, and passion were definitely on fire," Children of Fallen Soldiers Founder/CEO Becky Campbell shared. "We are thankful to Event Tickets Center for giving our women veterans a night to remember and a kick-start to getting back to healing with the help of the fire felt by all of us that night."

Delivering Happiness to Terminally Ill Women & Families

Most recently, Event Tickets Center donated tickets to Faces of Courage, sending an incredible group of cancer survivors and their families to a Tampa Bay Rowdies game, where they cheered the team on to a 3-0 victory.

As reported by The Alachua Chronicle, the Event Tickets Center team also traveled to Ruskin, FL this past spring to volunteer with Faces of Courage at their annual Women of Color Cancer Camp, which according to the organization, is the only camp of its kind in the US.

"It is companies like this who give the fight of 'normal things' that often are left behind after a diagnosis of cancer," Faces of Courage Founder/CEO and cancer survivor Peggie Sherry commented. "Thank you for allowing our families to escape their worries for an evening of fun and relaxation."

Ordinary People, Extraordinary Things

Event Tickets Center officially launched ETCares in December 2022 with more hands-on volunteer and donation opportunities, including collecting household goods and Christmas gifts for a family seeking assistance through Another Way, Inc., an Alachua-based crisis center serving victims of domestic violence.

This past spring, the team partnered with Gainesville-based pet rescue Faithful Friends Pet Rescue, hosting an on-office Puppy Party. The event aimed at socializing puppies that would have otherwise been unfit for adoption, preparing them for success outside of the shelter.
