According to the National Football League (NFL) official website, the performer will be none other than Rihanna, making her long-awaited return to the music scene for the show. This will also be her first Super Bowl appearance since she resigned from performing at the event over 5 years ago. Another novel change to the Halftime Show is that Apple Music will be sponsoring after Pepsi has done so since 2013. Unlike standard halftime breaks, which typically last 12-15 minutes, the Super Bowl Halftime Show lasts longer. On average, the Halftime show lasts 20-30 minutes, so keep that in mind when watching in person or on TV/online.
