Meet Bob Mould

Bob Mould is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter best known for his contributions to alt rock bands Hüsker Dü and Sugar throughout the 1980s and ‘90s. Hüsker Dü is considered one of the most influential American bands of the ‘80s as a post-hardcore punk band that aided in defining the sounds and ideals of alternative rock. Following the band’s break up, Mould ventured into a solo career that would spawn 12 studio albums including his self -titled third album featuring Mould himself playing every single instrument. The album hit the number one spot on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and featured the track “Dog on Fire,” which would later go on to become the theme song of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. Mould has produced albums for over ten bands over the course of his career.
