Acoustic guitar/banjo indie duo Caamp emerged from Columbus, OH in 2012. Made up of childhood friends Evan Westfall (banjo) and Taylor Meier (guitar), the duo adopted the named Caamp in 2015 after playing and writing material together for a few years. They delivered their self-titled debut one year later, quickly garnering a loyal following thanks to their viral success on streaming platforms. The band continued to expand their reach over the next couple of years with a few key tours and the release of subsequent singles like “Hey Joe,” “Common Man,” and “26.” Caamp returned in 2018 with the Boys (Side A) EP, featuring a more robust sound and augmenting a few of the new songs with electric guitar.
