Since their inception, the Cowlitz Black Bears have been a competitive team in the West Coast League. In their first season in 2010, they finished with a record of 18-30 tied for last place. However, the Black Bears bounced back in 2012, finishing with a record of 26-28 and qualifying for the playoffs. In 2019, the Bears ended their anniversary season with an overall record of 24 wins and 30 losses, landing in fifth.
