Dance Gavin Dance is an American rock band from Sacramento, California. The band has released a total of seven albums since their beginning in 2005. Their fourth studio album titled Downtown Battle Mountain II (2011) reached No. 2 on the Hot Rock Albums chart and subsequently became their highest selling album to date. On October 7, 2017, Dance Gavin Dance announced they had begun recording their eighth studio album, Artificial Selection, going on to release two fresh singles, “Midnight Crusade” and “Son of a Robot.” The full album is dropped in the summer of 2018.
