The Lafayette Aviators is part of the Prospect League, an independent Minor League Baseball comprising teams of eligible NCAA college players from North America and beyond.
The Aviators play their home games at Loeb Stadium in Lafayette, IN, reconstructed at the end of 2019 Prospect League season, holds a capacity of 2,600.
The Lafayette Aviators have had some success in their short history despite being a relatively new franchise. They won their first Prospect League championship in 2017, defeating the Butler BlueSox and again in 2021 with a record of 41-18. The Aviators have also brought in experienced coaches, Brent McNeil and Michael Keeran to help guide the players and develop their skills.
