Nahko Bear is the frontman of Nahko and Medicine for the People, an Alternative world music group. Born in Portland, Oregon, Nahko set out on a journey of self-discovery and adventure as a teen. His mission and creative inspiration was to bridge cultural gaps and find personal, spiritual and social healing through music. Nahko and Medicine for the People was born through his efforts. The six-man band has since released four studio albums and performed around the globe.
