Progressive post-hardrock rock outfit Hail the Sun emerged from Chico, California with a style and sound blending heavy breakdowns and blastbeats. The group made their recording debut with the release of POW! Right in the Kisser! in 2010, followed by their EP Elephantitis in 2012. A record deal followed shortly thereafter, leading to the release of their critically acclaimed second full-length Wake in 2014.
