Meet Moulin Rouge - The Musical Show

The stage adaptation of the wildly popular 2001 musical film Moulin Rouge is set to make its Broadway debut! Moulin Rouge! The Musical has been called “smart, shameless and extravagantly entertaining,” a show that “captures the sensibility of a movie-loving movie in a theater lover’s language.” The cast includes Tony Award winner Karen Olivo and Aaron Tveit in the leading roles. The story follows a young writer who falls for a dancer and courtesan at the Moulin Rouge cabaret hall, set in late 19th-century Paris. The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards, wining two for costume design and art direction.
