The O'Fallon Hoots
The O'Fallon Hoots is part of the Prospect League, an independent Minor League Baseball comprising teams of eligible NCAA college players from North America and beyond.
The Hoots formed in late 2017 and played the 2018 and 2019 seasons as the Hannibal Hoots. After the 2019 season, the franchise relocated from Hannibal to O'Fallon beginning with the 2020 season, playing their home games at CarShield Field.
CarShield Field, formerly T.R. Hughes Ballpark, was built in 1998 and reconstructed in 2016 and replaced the natural grass playing field with a synthetic turf field in the following year. It has a seating capacity of over 3,500 and offers a variety of seating options.
As one of the newest teams in the Prospect League, the O'Fallon Hoots have quickly established themselves as a team to watch in the league, with a 109-126 record since 2018.
As a Minor League Baseball team, the Hoots provide an excellent opportunity for fans to catch some exciting baseball action close to home. So whether you're a die-hard baseball fan or just looking for a fun night out with the family, be sure to check out the O'Fallon Hoots this season!
