Meet The Wiggles
The Wiggles are a children's entertainment and educational group from Sydney, Australia. They formed in the early 1990's while three of the founding members (Anthony Field, Murray Cook, and Greg Page) were attending college and studying early childhood education. Field had an idea to incorporate his studies into children's music, and, with the help of Phillip Wilcher and Jeff Fatt, the first Wiggles songs were recorded.
The Wiggles have enjoyed international fame and recognition for their contributions to child education. They have produced many multi-platinum selling albums and have been recognized by Australia's foremost recording artist authorities. They have sold over 20 million DVD's and have had their music and videos played in preschools all over the world, giving The Wiggles a permanent place in modern music history.
