Tilian Pearson, known simply as Tilian, is a singer/songwriter and musician hailing from Clearwater, Florida. Tilian began his career in music in 2007 when he formed the rock band Tides of Man, releasing one EP and two studio albums before parting ways with the group in 2010. He would go on to write songs for bands including Emarosa and Saosin before signing on to become the clean vocalist for the post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance in 2012. Throughout his time with the group, Dance Gavin Dance has released four studio albums including Acceptance Speech (2013), Instant Gratification (2015), Mothership (2016), and Artificial Selection (2018). Despite remaining and active member of the band, Tilian continues to pursue a solo career, releasing three studio albums and two EPs.
