BROCKHAMPTON Announce All New North American Tour
Brockhampton have shared they are gearing up to hit the road this fall in support of their upcoming album, Iridescence!
The all-new “I’ll Be There Tour” gets underway October 3 in Mesa, AZ. From there, the group will travel coast-to-coast, hitting cities like New Orleans, Boston, Denver, Detroit and San Francisco before closing with a final show in Las Vegas on December 6.
The 27-date trek will include two nights in New York City and appearances at the Austin City Limits Music Fest (10/5) and Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw in LA (11/10-11).
Brockhampton have released several singles in recent months from their upcoming album, including “1997 Diana,” “Don’t Be Famous,” “1988 Truman2,” and “1999 Wildfire.” Iridescence will be their fourth studio album and the first release since Saturation III, which dropped at the end of last year. It will mark the group’s first new record through their new label, RCA.
Who are Brockhampton?
Musical group Brockhampton was established by vocalist Kevin Abstract, partially through the online forum “KanyeLive” (now “KanyeToThe”). The group released their debut mixtape All-American Trash in 2016, followed by the chart-topping Saturation trilogy, which was released over a six-month span in 2017. Brockhampton’s sound is a blend of hip-hop and R&B, with material ranging anywhere from dark posse cuts to light ballads. Although their sound is heavily influenced by the rap/hip-hop genre, the group prefers to be known as an “all-American boy band” rather than a hip-hop collective or rap group.
