Show times and lengths will vary depending on what the performance is (concerts, rodeos, etc.), but generally weekday rodeos occur at 6:45 p.m., and the weekday ones take place at 3:45 p.m. Once the rodeo dust has settled, concert performers will likely take the stage at 9 p.m. on weekdays, and around 6 p.m. on weekends.

Amongst the shows offered, you'll find rodeos the Cattle Scramble show, where 28 competitors try and catch one of 14 calves in Reliant Stadium.

Where to get Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo tickets
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo tickets are available usually a few months ahead of the event, and are divided amongst several different categories. The first category includes tickets solely for the Rodeo/Concert aspect, and is then subdivided into tickets for individual performances, premium seating, and season tickets, with prices varying between the three. Also factored into the price is the seat location.
Other tickets include admission to the NRG Park grounds. Similar to the concert and rodeo tickets, you can also get season passes for the whole 20 days for all grounds of the event, or single day passes for the NRG Park grounds. Things to do near NRG Park
Even though there's plenty available to do at the rodeo, there's still plenty of other great things to do and enjoy while in the Houston area. Outside of NRG Stadium and NRG Park, you can find the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. You'll find many classic paintings by well known artists at this museum, including Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Paul Cezanne.
