Metal rock outfit High on Fire was formed in 1998 by Sleep guitarist Matt Pike. The group released a handful of well-received albums before hitting it big with the release of their acclaimed 2005 album Blessed Black Wings. The album's success served as a sign of things to come for the band, who would continue to release commercially successful records including Snakes of the Divine (2010) and Electric Messiah (2018), the latter of which earned the group a Grammy Award. High on Fire remains one of the most widely respected and influential heavy metal bands in the world.
