The Manitoba Moose is a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They play in the American Hockey League (AHL) and are the minor league affiliate of the National Hockey League (NHL) team, the Winnipeg Jets.

The team was originally founded in 1996 and played in the International Hockey League (IHL) until 2001, when the league disbanded. The Moose then joined the AHL and played there until 2011, when the team was relocated to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and became the St. John's IceCaps. The Moose returned to Winnipeg in 2015, and have been playing in the AHL ever since.

The team's main rivals are the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Chicago Wolves, and the Rockford IceHogs. The Moose have a heated rivalry with the Griffins, as the two teams have faced each other numerous times in the playoffs. The team's home arena is the Canada Life Centre, which is also the home arena of the Winnipeg Jets.

In terms of league accomplishments, the Moose have won two division championships in their history. They won the North Division title in the 2008-2009 season. The team has made several playoff appearances, but their most successful season came in 2009 when they reached the Calder Cup Finals, but lost to the Hershey Bears in six games.
