How Monster Jam Works

A key part of the Monster Jam experience is how the audience choose the best of the day! Fans rate the drivers via their smartphones, with the highest average score determining the winner in the different events. The points from each event are counted towards the season standings, which determine the qualifiers for the Monster Jam World Finals. 

Monster Trucks’ Specs

The chassis of Monster Trucks is made of strong metals like steel or aluminum, while the body is made of fiberglass or carbon fiber. Safety features include roll cages, fire suppression systems, and safety harnesses.

Monster trucks are among the largest and most powerful vehicles, typically built on a pickup truck chassis but heavily modified. Here are their specs:

Monster Jam began captivating audiences in 1992 under the promotion of the United States Hot Rod Association (USHRA). Originally a side act at motocross events, it quickly evolved into a standalone phenomenon, featuring massive, custom-designed trucks performing jaw-dropping stunts and high-speed races. The inaugural event in Pontiac, Michigan, showcased the unique appeal of these colossal machines, drawing crowds with their sheer power and entertainment value.

Grave Digger

Grave Digger is a staple of Monster Jam, originating in 1982 with Dennis Anderson.
