Mount Eerie is the musical project of The Microphone's front man Phil Elverum, exploring the deeper more personal feel of his work with his former band. Mount Eerie earned widespread critical praise for the release of 2009's Wind Poem and 2017's A Crow Looked at Me. Their sound blends together elements of ambient music, folk, and black metal with deeply personal lyrics. The band has released a total of 10 studio albums to date.
