Pouya first emerged onto the music scene as a member of Miami's Smart Stunnas group. He gained popularity as a solo artist following the release of his debut single "Get Buck" in 2013, which originally appeared as a track on the Smart Stunna's mixtape, Baby Bone. The track went viral after being uploaded online. Following the major success of his debut solo track, Pouya dropped two more mixtapes, Stunna and The South Side Slugs in 2015. The tracks passed two million views. Pouya is currently on his Five Five tour, with several shows scheduled around the US, as well as two set to take place in Europe.
