Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, best known by his stage name RZA, is a rapper, producers, musician, actor, and director best known as the de facto leader of the Wu-Tang Clan. He has produced almost all of Wu-Tang Clan's albums, as well as many Wu-Tan solo and affiliate projects. RZA has also recorded and released solo material under the alter-ego Bobby Digital. During the 1990s, RZA ventured into film, and has since been heavily involved in filmmaking, with credits including Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. He has appeared in several films and television series, including American Gangster, Brick Mansions, Gang Related, and Californication, and made his directorial debut with The Man with the Iron Fists in 2012. Despite his wildly successful career in film and television, RZA is still best known for his musical production, with a style that incorporates soul samples and sparse beats.
