Alt-rock group Staind formed in 1995, made up of members Aaron Lewis, Mike Mushok, Johnny April, and Jon Wysocki (who left in 2011, replaced by Sal Giancarello). Since their formation, Staind has released a total of seven studio albums, their most recent being a self-titled release in 2011. Since then, the group's activity has been a bit sporadic, with front man Lewis pursuing a solo country music career and Muchok joining Saint Asonia - however, they have continued to tour on and off throughout the years. Staind has sold over 15 million records worldwide, reaching the top of the charts with popular singles like "It's Been Awhile," "Fade," "Price to Play," "So Far Away," and "Right Here."
