Alt-rock outfit Anberlin emerged in the early 2000s, hailing from Orlando, FL. Formerly known as SaGoh, the group released two albums before disbanding, changing their name and musical direction. Led by vocalist Stephen Christian, Anberlin presented an uplifiting alt-pop/rock style that also featured an emo vibe. The band released a pair of albums before making their commercial breakthrough with their third album Cities in 2007, becoming their first album to reach the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. New Release followed in 2008, peaking at number 13, with its lead single “Feel Good Drag” reaching the number one spot on the Alternative Songs chart. The group would release three additional studio albums before disbanding in 2014. Anberlin reunited only a handful of times since going their separate ways in 2014. They reunited in 2019 for a 22-stop US Tour.
