Maroon 5 is a pop rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1994, led by front-man Adam Levine. Originally known as Kara's Flowers, the group was still at ground level in the 1990's after putting out two albums, sparking the notion that group's musical career could be short lived. In 2001, they re-branded as Maroon 5 and focused on playing a more accessible, mainstream sound. With the release of their hit album 'Songs About Jane', the group was instantly launched into success and went on to subsequently put out numerous hit singles and sell millions of albums.
