Everclear is an alternative rock band based out of Portland, Oregon, formed in 1991 by front-man and songwriter Art Alexakis. The band was involved in the early 1990’s northwest alternative grunge scene. Everclear did not experience significant commercial success, however, until the release of their major label album ‘Sparkle and Fade’ in 1995. Since the group’s inception, the lineup has experienced a string of changes, but the ever evolving group continues to tour and cater to their well-established fan base.
