Founded by Los Angeles-based DJs Justin Warfield and Adam “Adam 12” Bravin, She Wants Revenge first emerged in 2003, gaining widespread exposure thanks to industry connections, word-of-mouth, and airplay time on satellite radio. The duo landed a record deal, releasing their self-titled debut album in 2006 that drew comparisons to the likes of the Bravery, Interpol, and Depeche Mode, the latter of which they would spend the remainder of the year supporting on an extensive tour. She Wants Revenge issued their second album This Is Forever in 2007, followed by a pair of EPs including Save Your Soul (2008) and Up & Down (2009). The pair released their third album, Valleyheart, in 2011.
