Train emerged from San Francisco in 1993 during the height of the post-grunge frenzy. Their up-beat balladry brought them more success in the pop/rock world, where they rose to prominence on the strength of hit singles like “Calling All Angels” and “Drops of Jupiter.” With a sound that teetered between adult contemporary and alt-rock, Train was in a class all their own, continuously churning out hits through the early 2000s.
