Meet Ben Platt
Tony Award-winning actor and singer Ben Platt rose to fame for his roles in the Pitch Perfect film franchise and for originating the role of Evan Hansen in Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen. Platt’s career in theater began when he was a child, appearing in several Broadway productions including The Music Man (2002) and The Book of Mormon (2012-2013). His portrayal of Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen began in 2015, and would become his most prominent role to date, earning the young star several accolades including the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Platt signed with a record label in 2017. His debut studio album, Sing to Me Instead, was released in March 2019.
