Singer-songwriter Troye Sivan was born in Johannesburg, South Africa before he moved to Perth, Western Australia when he was two years Sivan has a strong YouTube presence, having started out singing on the site in 2007. Today, his channel is the third most subscribed channel in Australia. His music career started in 2014 when he released a five-song EP titled TRXYE in 2014, which debuted at number one on iTunes in over 55 countries and at number five on the Billboard 200. The song “Happy Little Pill” peaked at number 10 on the charts, becoming certified gold. Sivan put out his debut album, Blue Neighborhood, in 2015. Held up by the hit single “Youth,” which peaked at number 23 on the Top 40 chart, the album helped put him on the map as a rising star. He collaborated with DJ Martin Garrix to produce the song “There For You” in 2017.
